There was that thread last week or so about mechanics that say they can change a transmission in 45 minutes even though the book time is 8.4 days or something like that. Well, I don't believe that stuff. As a mechanic I know you can beat the book time on most things by a few percent, and there are a few things that you can really beat the heck out of the time ('till chrysler finds out and cuts the book time in half) but here's actual proof of a mechanic beating the heck out of book time:
