It's easy to determine the answer to #1. Stop by a Mazda dealership and you'll have your fitment answer within a minute of walking in the door. ND1 and ND2 will fit the same, and cloth cars will offer a bit more room than leather cars. The RF does have slightly less headroom than the softtop, but it's no worse than the NC was.
