I think it's a pretty good price. Ironically, I'll be shopping for a vehicle as soon as I touchdown in Tampa. I couldn't pay cash for it but it would be a small loan.

Against a $30k normally aspirated 06 Elise, I'd guess this would be faster in The Texas Mile, and the Elise would be faster on most autocross courses. Beyond that, I'm not sure how one would compare the performance of these cars. The CL65 weighs as much as an Elise with two occupants sitting on top of another Elise with two occupants.

There is an amazing amount of vehicles like this peppered across montana. On my drive in to glasgow i saw so many cool old trucks sitting in fields. I suggested to some folks there that they could make a fortune by just shipping them south. Most didnt believe me, others were insulted at the idea of parting with a vehicle that hadnt moved in 30 years.
