IT appears that the front springs are zip tied together from two sets with two set's of shocks somehow joined as well.

When the bellhousing that you are sitting atop of shatters the steering gear teeth will provide ample grip for the gear to be sticking out your sternum.
Hmm yeah after seeing the zip tied springs I'd say it's clearly in the "redneck" zone. I mean, you'd think he'd at least use some hose clamps
There appears to be a plate between the upper and lower springs so the zip ties are just to locate them, however I would find a more secure method also.
It isn't too far from me, thinking plow, trailer, parts car dragging machine, not to mention what the berkeley
I think the seat is mounted off the diff, that would be a wild ride, maybe that lower shock mount should be altered to the frame rails that extend back almost as far.
As it is I would expect to be shaken not stirred.
