Anyone here ever done any desert racing? My friend just got a Baka bug. We are kicking around running it in class 5/5000 with the Texas desert racing organization. It will be woefully under prepped but could be fun if we can keep it together. Would love to pick the hives mind on some things
I know nothing about it but would love to try it one day, looks like a blast. My brother just picked up a Ford F150 pre-runner style truck, I'm not sure of all the details but he drives it on the road in Montana. lol I think there's a series somewhat close to him that it's legal for.

I've not done it, but I've seen some, and helped some development.
Trophy trucks are amazing beasts.
I do some sandy offroad stuff but not desert racing specifically.
