My frame of reference is about 1990-2010 because pretty much everything I've owned came from that period, but I've definitely developed some biases. I started out as an "I only buy Japan" type, realized the error of my ways and expanded into American and German cars, and now I'm regressing back into an only Japan household. IDK man, I'm just tired of fixing stuff.
I would buy GM again, I loved my GMT800 Silverado. Best cupholders I've ever had. Porsche hurt me bad but I liked it enough I'd consider another one. Jeep though...
I liked the idea of a Jeep, but of all the cheap junk I've bought it was by far the cheapest and junkiest. Mine looked as nice as any but it couldn't go more than a couple of weeks without developing a new problem. I thought maybe I'd be the one lucky guy who wouldn't have mechanical problems with a mid 2000s Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge but it turns out I'm not special. So yeah, no more Chrysler products.
