I need to replace the VVT solenoids on my SO's '01 Avalon. Dorman parts are ubiquitous and reasonably priced. Are they any good? I prefer to only do jobs once.

I think of them as mid level on a lot of stuff. Have them in my e61. Only been a couple thousand miles.

Well they're cheap enough and this job should be easy enough - especially the second time, if it comes to that - that I figure I'll roll the dice and give them a shot.

I know nothing of that particular product, but Dorman seems to care about quality. I had some of their lug nuts lose their chrome caps, when I complained they overnighted me a whole box, along with an overnight return label for the old ones.

I'd take dorman stuff over most.
