You know those insane cars Ken Block drove in those Gymkhana videos? He's selling two of them. Better yet? He's also parting ways with his modified Ford RS 200.

First up is the 2013 Ford Fiesta ST RX43 used in Gymkhana Six, Eight and Terrakhana, though also served as Block’s 2013 Global Rallycross championship car.

Next is a 2011 …

And Ford seems to be going all in on Vaughn Gitten Jr.

I'm wondering if Ford decided to distance themselves from Hoonigan for some reason..  the relationship with Monster still seems intact.

I'd go with the RS200 all day.

The fiestas both want me to call or something for the price, and being a millennial, I absolutely will not talk on the phone. Guess I'm stuck with that RS200.

When were these ever raced? I think my 07 Legacy Wagon has seen more competition than any of these cars devil

Edit: Just re-read and I see the '13 was his Rallycross car, I stand corrected.

It appears he's taking the Ford breakup pretty hard. I bet he's been binge listening to Taylor Swift

RS200, to use in Stock class SCCA RallyCross.

Hey, it's stock the way Ford built it, right?

It would be absolutely horrible at it because the turbo lag can be measured on a calendar, but what would I care? I'd have an RS200.

RS200 every day of the week.  Tweak it to be nice to drive on the street and ditch the vinyl and those awful wheels.

I have rs200 parts on my e30. They add like 400 hp. True story

RS200 looks reasonably priced at $550K, but I'd need to throw another $100K at it to either return it to stock or turn it into a hillclimb monster.  Oh, and the stupid flat paint has to go as it's against the Geneva convention to assault the eyes with crap like that.

I remember seeing one of these cars on display at the Petersen museum in LA.  There was a group of people gathered around the display (not just a car, but a car, some things, and a TV/monitor), oddly not really paying any attention to the car (which was in a non-free car museum).

They were all focused on a free YouTube video that was playing behind the car . . .

No, that was a cosworth escort.

I thought it was Chris who had RS200 parts on his Merkur?

(the taillights, and IIRC the windshield)

While we get sentimental about cars, these were mostly sponsorship-based cars that were built to fill a purpose. He has generated a lot of income from these vehicles, but Ford is no longer sending checks so it is best to move them on so that a new sponsor won't have any issues with whatever video he makes next. He may not have actually owned the Fiestas, selling them may have been part of the contract all along. I'd jump on one, but I already have a Fiesta. That, and I don't have 6 figures for a car.

I wonder who gets the proceeds from the sale. I mean, there's got to be all sorts of paperwork involved about how the money flowed during the car's creation, and afterwards, who owns the car. Block was the driver, but who was the actual owner? I guess I don't see all the proceeds going to one individual, but I'm wrong all the time, so...

Correct a lot of these cars are contracted with Ford. Like the Ford GT based V6TT in the Hoonicorn Truck belongs to Ford.

I'm guessing Pastrana's contract with Subaru has something to do with all this too.

He's worth about $250 million. I don't think money is an issue. He's been starting different business ventures since the 90s (Including DC Shoes). I'd be shocked if his Hoonigan stuff doesn't support itself by now. If Cletus McWhatshisnuts can pay for all of his stuff through YouTube alone, I'm sure Block and his various sponsors and business entities are fine.
