This Alfa Romeo Spider got first in the autocross event at the $2004 Challenge and is one of GRM's 25 Choice Challengers.

It would be great to see it stay in the GRM family.
Wow. I know that car is still around. But it's WAAAYYY overpriced. Maybe half that. I sold it not running for $1000, and the person I sold it to never got it running before she moved to Mexico.
Then it's been filtering aroung Michigan for some time.
FWIW, the suspension is set up pretty nice- classic spring set I found from a friend, and I assume that the shocks are still the Konis we put on it. With R tires, it will be a fun autocrosser. It does need some stiffening help.
From what I can see, the car has exactly what I left it as- top included. Same engine (which came from a rusty bucket since I kept the turbo engine), same wheels (off the same donor car), same trim, even the same stickers. I think our names are still on the car.
We've thought about getting the car back a few times. Alas, we are parting with two of our other Alfas right now. I'll shoot them a note, and ask when the price gets cut in half.
anyone want to know some more details?
