From this:

FWIW, all hoods should wrap around the sides. Saab 900, Viper and a certain Buick also got it right.

Ok, well... this was sitting in the back of an Impulse. Looked pretty clean.

Worth grabbing for any reason? It'll run me about $100.

No checking the link to see what it is, but here's a clue. It's history spans three continents, explain for 1 extra Internet credit for the correct explanation!

Repco-Brabham V8? Based on the Buick aluminum V8 which became the Rover V8, modified by an Australian company.

Pfft. He forgot to mention that GM originally shoved that V8 in the new small cars. The Buick 3.8 and Pontiac 3800 are this engine with 2 cylinders lopped off. GM sold the rights and tooling to Jeep and then had to buy them back from AMC when they needed a V6. That engine has been around. Like a record.

The RWD Impulses were really striking when they first hit the street.

As mentioned, 4ZC1-T engine from an Isuzu.

Notice that it's in an inoperative state. This is normal.

This one looks freshly rebuilt. I assume since it's gigantic piece of E36 M3, i shouldn't bother buying it for future hilarity of some sort?
