I just hope they replace him with someone who knows the Auto industry rather than some money person. Our (the MTA's) last president was a money man and he borrowed heavily against Wall Street continuing to do well and paying taxes to support us, pushing through pet projects like subway tunnels to nowhere that nobody wanted, at the expense of equipment and facilities maintnace. Our current president was handed a pile of problems like the disappearance of that Wall street money and equipment that is deteriorating. He knows the business and is doing an admirable job of trying to keep things from getting worse and maintain as much service as possible but he was dealt a bad hand and once the Gov. gets replaced he will probably be out too.
