Has anybody seen this FFR 818S

Its a small community and the 818S owners seem like they are here as well.  Has anybody ever seen this car in person or happen to know the owner. It's local to me and reasonably priced and I have some space right now in my life for something stupid like this for autocross and soing some track days with Simon. 

I wonder if his injury is the only reason, or if, like me, he's a builder instead of a driver, where once the car is done, the challenge is gone. If so, it's a great way to get a car at a good price. And even though I'm in the San Diego area, no, I haven't seen it anywhere. Did see a really small 3-wheel EV today, though, will that do? :)

if I could get a Morgan three wheeler i think I would jump on that. 

 I have been digging for a atom for a long time now with sb100 registration but my old FFR cobra being as reliable as gravity and easy to get parts for this just seemed like a decent car. 

If you got this we'd have to get GRM out there to do a kit build comparison article between this and the spyder, for science and all that!

Well took a look. Guy must have 35k in parts in the car. The cosmetics are terrible but the mechanics are really good. Could get it around 18k I think and with the sb100 that is not a terrible price. Pricing on the car should be around 15-16k but I cannot get the car for that. would take another 3k to get it really good and a lot of hours. 
 

if I stripped out the interior and set the boost level appropriate for the built motor and turbo it would be 1700lbs and about 350ish hp. Engine would not even be taxed at that level. The transmission would not survive, you would need a sti trans imo to really make it reliable with track tires.  
 

I am bored and want to the car but I would be so better off just buying a c6/c7 and building it out properly or spending another 15k on the 550 spyder to really get it perfect. Been sitting in meetings for too many hours a day and have ants in my pants.
