How can you go wrong with a Brawny Fire Truck?  I'd hold out for one with the hose coil on the side.

If you're talking SD1, yes. I don't think there are that many left but you should be able to find one in continental Europe. Switzerland or Germany, most likely.

To be serious, I kind of like the Soarer, if it’s something you intend to put miles on.  I figure it probably has the typical 80’s/90’s Toyota durability, so shouldn’t need much unscheduled maintenance.  Failing that, anything that shared a platform with something sold in the US, so at least some parts will be easier to come by.

Yeah, the soarer makes a lot of sense from that perspective. It's not as cool as the Nissan , tho it is close. The evo3 was my original choice because it's basically a 4 door 2g dsm. I am familiar with those cars.

Depends on the use.  As a car one might use regularly, yes RHD can get tedious.  For an occasional weekend car, RHD can add to the fun.
