Looks like they're having a big sale at Harbor Freight this week...

I picked up the 800lb Low Lift Transmission Jack this week and found a coupon that wasn't even listed on HF's website by clicking on the google shopping link and saved $55.

It's a pass, but the chain on it is pretty flimsy and doesn't stay put as much as I wished it did.  I much prefer the ratchet strap on the cheaper option.  The pivoting hydraulic pump handle and castors on the 800lb jack are pretty decent and a nice upgrade.

Just joining this thread.  I bought a 17" magnet on wheels and a stick to pick up all the crap the gutter guy left behind.  It worked on Saturday.

This sounds like it could be a good deal, to me, FWIW...

Regular price on the 5ah battery and charger is $97.98, so you're getting a tool for $2.  That's a pretty good deal.

I'm pretty invested in the Bauer 20V universe, and I've been pretty satisfied so far.  The 3ah batteries last a long time... that 5ah should go forever!  The only problem I've had was a plastic switch breaking on the 90* drill... I didn't buy the warranty, and I'd had it for over a year so I was SOL, but other than that no complaints.

I ended up buying into the Hercules line, I only have the 1/2" 20v mid size impact so far. Its not a powerhouse, but if you don't use extensions, its proven enough for what I've asked from it. No problems with lug nuts. Hurcules has the same deal as above, but its $120 instead of $100.

The Daytona 6 ton jack stands get a big pass from me. Way more height that my 3 ton and estate sale specials which was great on the wife's Escalade which has all of the wheel travel. The locking key is pretty sweet too. These 6 ton stands really give off " You vs the guys she told you not to worry about" vibes.

Harbor Freight electric jackhammer. I think this is the 66-pound version. This one I ended up with for free. A contractor left it at a friend of my father's house after some work. He tried to return it for over a year, gave up, and gave it to my father. I acquired it from him.

I can recommend it. I busted up about 50 sqft of 4" fiber-filled concrete this past weekend with it. It did the job without complaint and it beats the hell out of swinging a sledge.

I got a while ago and I really like it.  Its bright, the magnet on the bottom is strong and its lasts quite a while.

The "mini tire changer" is, honestly, a huge stinking piece of Chinese crap.

I have quite a few ATV's, ATC's, riding mower, side by side buggy, trailers, etc. Figured I would save myself a few trips to the local tire shop by picking up the "mini tire changer" so I could remove and replace my own tires on all the toys.

Hard to clamp in a vise, but it goes together OK. The bead breaker handle worked all right, but trying to use the ball end tool to flip the tire bead up and over the wheel rim is an exercise ( and I do mean EXERCISE) in futility. The tire (and wheel) just rotate when you try to turn the tool to work the bead over the rim, and the center threaded stud bends like a pretzel when any force is applied.

After fighting with it for over an hour (with increasing levels of exertion, sweat, bigger tools, and a deep dive into my collection of swear words, I actually got one (1) tire off of a golf cart wheel. I looked at the other 3, said "Nope", and threw them in the truck, drove down to the tire shop and happily paid the guy $5 each to pop them off in like 3 minutes.

Guess which tool is going back for a refund?

Anyone here buy the Hercules portable band saw bench top stand yet? I have a SWAG table currently but I really like that the Hercules can be used horizontally to mimic a metal cutting bandsaw, so I'm contemplating replacing my SWAG with one of these.

I know the 5-drawer carts are generally well regarded, but so far I've held off. That said, I don't think I'll be able to anymore.

My dad had a old single speed Milwaukee Porta-Band mounted on an old 3 leg stand w/pipe vise.
Very heavy duty, and handy.
Haven't used the SWAG.
But I've looked at the HF one, and like it A Lot! Not as HD as mine (dads) but way better design.
if it ain't HD enough, cut some bracing, and weld (or bolt) 'er up!
