That looks a LOT better than I thought it would and I had faith that it would look okay.

Great job!

Think about it Ron, you beat the internet in 26 posts. Imagine how easy the rest of the engine swap will be!

Wait, wait, wait....

You're building a Maserati-headed 2.2 turbo powered mid-engined Shelby Charger? For the Challenge?

That is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. And to do it with a front fender too! I can't wait to see it done. Great job!

I didnt know anything about that engine: (From wiki) * "The 2.2 "Maserati" engine's cylinder head was cast in England by Cosworth and finished in Italy by Maserati. The pistons came from Mahle GmbH in Germany, and a Japanese turbocharger was sourced from IHI. The camshafts were designed by Florida-based Crane Cams but were constructed by Maserati in Modena. The rest of the engine was made in the United States and was similar to the Turbo II."

Holy Hell! Quite the list of automotive who's who...

Wow. Just... Wow.

Continuing the body's crease with the top of the flare just looks so right.

Nice work!

Alright... So one of the upcoming challenges is designing the exhaust system...

and I am not sure if the Maserati brand is the place I should be looking for inspiration...

With a turbo you will only need a simple "Boom Hole" (see the GRM Challenge Team Gutty car, along with others)
