How about shoehorn one into an Opel GT to complete the mini-vette thing going on there? Power to weight should be, um, interesting.

I like the idea of a Maserati BiTurbo. A good looking body that never got a good engine. Interior trim is frightful but the entire interior should be removed. As well, plan on a MSquirt and a full "Painless style" harness.

I shared the road today with a XJ6 w/ V12. It was driving next to a current Sentra. It is amazing how small the Jag looked next to the giant "compact car."

Ohhhh, Opel GT is a great idea too.

Opel would be the coolest, keeping it in the family. I also suspect that it would be nigh impossible without a E36 M3berkeleyload of backyard engineering, even by Andy Nelson standards.

Grassroots, Motorsports oriented, appealing to a crowd that has a predilection for racing and classic cars. Quite a few Gyro-gearloose types in the crowd who joneses for a good fabrication article.

Well, the answer is obvious. You MUST build an LS1 powered Europa.

I've been looking for a 400i as an LSx swap candidate.

MKII supra would be pretty sweet. I'd also be on board with an unloved exotic that needs some power.

I was thinking maybe a MKIII either one would be cool. Maybe a S13.

I'm sure it has, but I remember how fun AC's mid-vair was with the heavy big block. A light LS1 in that car would just make it amazing.

Well, that and decent brakes.

Folks, this is easy. In the Holy GRM Trinity, the E30 and Miata are now common targets for LS engine swaps.

The P71 isn't.
