I was under the impression that most decent headers for Miatas have a flex pipe in it, so I wouldn't see this as a problem as long as the flex section isn't damage. especially when it's a cheap header.
I read a 2011 comment from Keith that JR headers crack after a couple years, and this one is older than that.
Not sure I want to bolt it up and a short time later deal with that...
