Second season, they replaced Bonnie with April.

Played by Rebecca Holden.

I think, during the second season premiere ( first appearance of Garthe Knight and Goliath ), that when Michael is jury rigging a ramjet, he pulls a crossfire injection filter cover out of the engine bay. You might be able to see what is in there for a second.

It even looks good on a 4th gen:

And I'm pretty sure it was an automatic.

3 feet and change seems reasonable for a modified trans am.....

There is no way you're getting a third gen 3 inches shorter than a GT40.

Its been a good 10 years since i was last near a 3rd gen trans am, so my memory was probably off. Strangely, that was the same trip that saw my only ride in a true exotic....a ford gt!

This engine that popped up on eBay a month ago would have been perfect. It's just a few years off if you wanted it to have the right date code. Although it is a Mopar and not a Knight Industries.

That picture messes with my mind. Crazy looking turbine space ship thing bolted to a torqueflite.

considering you practically lay down when driving a 3rd and 4th gen.. it's not out of the question.

Looks like the Hoff should have been wearing a HANS device. That kind of deceleration would be kinda painful, IMO!

Painful? More like fatal.

The article says "Quick, Find An Engineless Aspen!"

I'm pretty sure all Aspen's were engineless.
