All rescue attempts will be thoroughly documented this time. Maybe it'll remind me the next time I say "The grass doesn't feel THAT soft" another year from now...

You should put in a driveway back there if you are going to keep the trailer there.

this is exactly why im never going to sell my beater 4wd vehicle to pull things around the yard. my yards sloped worse than that in many areas and i do get quite concerned anytime i need to drive the 2wd open-diff pickup around on it.

I got our 4Runner stuck in my suburban side yard (which is hilly toward the back and down from the side of the house. And it was in 4WD. But wet red clay didn't play well with the crappy stock "all terrain" tires.

Trying to extract it, I managed to slide down and to the side and tagged the big gatepost on the fence with the rear end and put a big dent in the bumper. Wife was not impressed, seeing as it was her truck ....

don't know how true that is … when I was doing cable tv underground work, my work truck was a mid '60's Chevy 6cyl, 3 on the tree. I once got stuck in a yard that couldn't have had more then 6" of climb over 50' … damp… not even wet grass … didn't even mark the grass while it spun

HAHAHAHAHA.

You sir, just like to give us something good to laugh about. On the other hand, it reminds me of when I delivered pizza quite a few years back and getting stuck in people's grass driveway at least 3 times when we had a heavy rain. At least a third of drivers will get stuck once.

I'm not a real truck expert. But I did notice while watching the commercial the Viagra guy's Dodge had locking hubs for the front wheels & they weren't spinning. Just sayin.

The Internet told me that if I ever got a 2wd truck stuck on grass, it was because I was a clueless oaf who had no idea how to work a throttle.
