Then there the many gm ls crate engines sold
most the trucks and fullsize suv's had iron blocks which excludes them, if i remember right so did the hummer and maybe the colorado's as well?
Actually what I ment was they have been available with aluminium ls engines. Technically just the half tons as the HD trucks are all iron block. The one I was wrong was the avalanche. The Colorado ,canyon,h3 used the lh6 which is an aluminum block.
