Her car is a no accident 2004 BMW 330i performance package (ZHP) six speed manual with 98k miles on it. Orient blue exterior with dove gray leather interior with the aluminum cube trim. Car is completely stock.

Shocks, struts, lower control arms and LCABs replaced at 80k. Brakes also have a lot of life on them as they were replaced around the same time. New crankcase vent system installed in the last 1000 miles along with new DISA valve. New alternator and battery in the same time frame.

All OEM parts used.

If I were to go by NADA or KBB it doesn't go for much more than $7-8k, but I was thinking around $10k.

Damn. If I wasn't committing funds elsewhere in the near future, I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I keep thinking we should just keep it. She doesn't drive all that much.

Find the right enthusiast and you could get close to your $10K number. Good luck with that though.

Dealer has a 2011 335i XDrive for $23k with 61k miles. Don't think it is CPO, but for that price I don't care.

I'd probably be happy to get $9k for the wife's car. Don't tell anyone!

Going to the Bridgeport BMW dealer to look at some cars at lunch. Apparently they are loaded with inventory.

Based on what listings I find your KBB and NADA figures are spot on. Maybe your's is nicer but you have to look at the cars you are competing against and keeping in mind sales price is likely 10-20% off asking price. That being said you can always lower the price it's hard to raise it. list it where you want if the phone doesn't ring you are asking too much.

Wife likes the car at the dealer. I must admit it's a clean car well below blue book value. Probably gonna look to sell the 330i this week.

Her ZHP is most likely worth more than $10k. I just bought my second ZHP (2004 with 147k miles on it and an aftermarket LSD) and shopped them for a long time. Cruise over to ZHPmafia.com and check their classifieds for comparables. Great folks on that forum and they typically post pretty much every ZHP that pops up for sale anywhere in the country. It will give you a great idea of the market.

Everything is more expensive in Seattle. I mark it up to geographic isolation and a large population of well-paid younger people. Of course cars don't rust up here, but they don't rust in Cali either and cars are cheaper there.

There seems to be a divide between the it's worth huge money crowd and the it's worth what a regular 3 series is worth so I went with what will make us happy if we get it.

I was going to post on that zhpmafia site, but they want $10 to join so I just posted it on bimmerforums instead and on here.

If you were closer or in te southern states I would buy this sight unseen.

I think $10 is a very small price for a dedicated audience.
