I'm just a participant on the Rallycross not an organizer of either
North Texas Rallycross (Facebook group)
The North Texas Rallycross series is starting March 5, in Ardmore, Oklahoma (easy 2 hour drive from DFW) and there will be a Mini Bike 100 mile Enduro. (Coleman type, not pit bike)
Should be in the same property but separate track and time.

YES! I will be there in the same car as last season. I share the keys if anyone wants to try rallycross. You can ride for a few runs and then give it a go. I can show you all the things NOT to do in one run quite efficiently :). I then spend the rest of the day undoing those things and going quicker.

Hoping to go, but my work schedule isn't done for March yet. ...and I don't quite have a Mini Bike, but can probably grab one from someone in the Okie Gambler 500 group for a couple laps.

Not quite a haiku
I will be there. My dad and son will be there too. We will see who can go faster in the Subaru; dad, son or grandson ( I have my prediction on this already). I'm really having so much fun on dirt, I am considering selling my Boxster and going full rally car build.
Just settled in for the night at a motel 15 minutes away. I brought a Boxster 'parts car' to race. I'm actually meeting a guy for lunch that is buying the original bumper, headlights, and a few small parts.
Crazy day rallycrossing.
We ran on a new portion of the off-road park (same venue) and the surface was totally different. It was way sandier, fluffier, sifter and slower. I went bombing it the first set of slow turns expecting similar levels of grip.... uh nope. With the mini bike racing we got shutdown at noon too which limited runs :(.

Look at kiddo doing some counter steer and then tapping the horn! He is getting better!
Next one is 3/27 and I bet we are back up on the hill with more traction.

Next one I can make it to is April 10th. I definitely had the wrong tires for on for Saturday - R888s on back with Nitto NT01s up front. They worked well on the hard packed HooptieX track with the other Boxster.

They will work great up on the hill, and there are no rocks up there.

Yikes that rock did bad things to your car :(. Yes there are no rock crawling hills where we normally rallycross.
The sump plate is all set now. All that's left to fix is the plastic belly panels.

We had a young guy come check it out. He went on lots of rides and is now shopping. I share my car when I'm there. You can ride a few and then drive. I don't share helmets or pay entry fees though :).
If you are close, you should come. Next one is 3/27 then 4/10. I should make both.

I've had more than 1 co-driver at various events. The car seems to do pretty good, and I'm considering selling it too. I could use the funds to get a faster Subaru.
I've decided to upgrade to an STI later this year or next. Anyone wanting a rallycross Subaru that is proven quick should inquire. If I sell it before I move, c'est la vive. If not, I will keep competing in it.
