I enjoy cars as much as most folks I know, but it is time to unclutter my life...some.  On the plus side, if I am successful in finding new homes for these vehicles, I will still be left with three project cars (1957 Austin Healey 100-6, 1975 Toyota FJ40 and the Tubeframe Camaro race car.  My goal is to have three dependable, roadworthy daily vehicles.  My 7.3 Ford Dually, my wife’s Highlander Hybrid and my future daily (to be debated at a later date).   I will create separate “For Sale Chapters” for each of these as I get the assets together, but here is a preview.  (the vehicles are located on the eastern shore of Maryland...about an hour from DC/Baltimore and little further from Philly)

Here we go.1983 Wanderlodge FC35 Rear Bath                        $30,000   (already quite a bit of interest from this forum and the WOGS site)  This is known to the Mid-Atlantic NASA Racing world.  Good times cannot help but be had when around this bus. This thread has started..."Perhaps the Wanderlodge will go"

1976 Mercedes 450SEL                                             CLEAN…as in, freakishly clean example.  It needs new front tires and there is an exhaust manifold tick when it is cold.  (I may have fixed this over the weekend…I want to drive it a bit more before I claim a win) It has a hot start issue that is possibly vapor lock…the entire fuel pressurized system has been replaced.  Odometer went at some point…it shows 152,000.  I don’t drive it much…I’ll guess 155,000 on it.  But…it is as clean and rust free as any you will find. Thread starting soon..."My 1976 450SEL"

2001 Corvette C5                                                       Engine was done up when new by Charles Bisland, former Corvette Racing fellow.  Lingenfelter heads, z06 cam, high comp pistons.  I don't have the build sheet, but was told the bottom end was built to take 800HP.  I don't really know.  Never had it on a dyno, but when I was using this for HPDE, I didn’t have any z06’s leaving me.  I put a Mid-American suspension on it also back in the day.  Needs a lifter replaced and the gauge says it is running a little warm.  My daughter ran it into our front porch when she was learning to drive so the nose is flat black and the body is deep blue.  Black and blue, so to speak.  She didn’t get all the shroud back on exactly right, so maybe that’s where the warmth comes from.  Newish water pump and hoses.  6 speed…runs like a scalded cat but not because it is running hot.  It’s worth $10k to me, so I will let this go for $10K.

2002 Chevy Suburban                                               This is my “lost” truck. I bought this one new.  All my kids learned to drive on it, then a few took it to college with them.  My daughter was the last to use it near Pittsburgh at Grove City College where it was famously known as "Big Bertha".  It taught my kids humility and basic auto repair skills. It is bumping 470K miles on the original everything.  It makes incredibly strange sounds.  I think the last oil change was 150K ago.  It has rust in the rockers and when I went to pull the spare out, I got rust in my eye.  It comes with all my daughter’s belongings that she hasn’t unpacked from college.  I’m not sure what’s in there.  Two new Kuhmo rear tires.   $250

1996 Triumph Thunderbird 900                              I bought this from a work mate who was moving out of the country.  I drove it around my “neighborhood” for a couple of years when it developed a leaking petcock. I just parked it and never did a fix.  A couple of years ago my son and I got it running and then put it away again.  It needs a couple of new turn signal stalks and new tires for sure.  It is filthy and could be called a barn find in 30 years.  Now, it’s just filthy.  $1200.

E36 Hardtop                                                                Gray.  I removed the headliner, and it has one dent that probably can be removed by one of those magic shops.  These are hard to come by, so…$2500.  But it does come with a free car, below.  As a matter of fact, you can’t have the top unless you take the free car.

1995 BMW 325i Convertible                                    Lovingly referred to as Gertrude.  I bought this spontaneously while on vacation in Florida years ago.  It has about 180K on it and is not running at the moment. It sits on two flats and most of the interior panels have been removed, or have removed themselves.  Edward Higginbotham and I thought about cutting down the windshield, welding on giant flares and LS-ing it like an E-mod track demon.  Instead, #itsfree with the aforementioned hardtop purchase.

1939 Rolls Royce 25/30 Wraith                               Park Ward Limousine with electric division glass.  This car is amazing.  I don’t really know how I feel about parting with it, but here we go.  This truly is one of the finest pieces of precision engineering I’ve ever touched.  I rebuilt the water pump and it was pure joy to just unbolt things.  The tolerances on this is wonderful.  One shot lube suspension system (you pump oil to the suspension points with a foot pedal under the dash).  Black leather for the hired help up front.  Red leather for the gentry.  It runs like a dream.  I have ownership history from new.  $90,000.

Location would be an important thing to add.

That Triumph would be a great bike for someone. Someone other than me who already has 4 motorcycles.

I have not replaced the BMW650 I sold this year, yet. Looking for a cheap K75, but they have finally started to go up in price. I test drove a thunderbird sport bak in 99, and I'd love a fixer-upper, for an actual fixer-upper price!

I don't see any of the pictures on my work computer tonight, but I'm def. gonna mail ya.

What part of Maryland is home for you?.  I hope we can work out the logistics

Ah, saw the eastern shore side of things. I've traveled through that area, but only on the "big" roads, passin' through.

22 years ago we sold our first house and moved to our current house; I cleaned out a 10 x 10 shed full of small bore Yamaha RD bikes and spares. I had to admit I was never going to get to it.

Best thing I ever did. I find having projects waiting in the wings stresses me out..........having 5 years of projects waiting in the wings would cuase me to melt down.

I'm near the town of Centreville.  Central on shore...30 minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (Annapolis).

Looks like a good idea to purge, I can barely keep up with one hobby car and one race car.   I would like all except the bike, it only I had a warehouse and extra time and money.

Also glad to see you haven't developed an eating disorder.

Can confirm as NASA Mid-Atlantic racer/staff, Wanderlodge is awesome to see in the paddock and a party seems to always pop up nearby.

That Suburban sounds awful and wonderful. I have nothing to add but GLW(all of the)S!

Dang, so you really are purging. GLWS. smiley

And like Brake_L8, I can also vouch for the seller.

Sent it through the website contact button. Usually goes to email. You can always shoot me an email at spinout007 at goolge mail. Might be interested in the burb and the bike. :D I seem to be collecting GMT800's these days.  Or text at Tres five 2 278 4oh97.

Slick.  Reaching out.  A nice combo platter.  I'm going to pull some small weed trees out with the suburban tonight.  Just for old times sake.  4WD low is like no other.
