Cool hack from another forum:

I discovered a way to quickly find all closeout parts offered for a specific car without clicking every parts category. 1. On the home page, click on the big red start button to start the "Interactive" catalog. 2. Towards the bottom of the page, look for "Catalog display problem? Click Here for the traditional HTML version." This will take you to the older style catalog search. 3. Search through the catalog till you find your specific car model. 4. Your address bar should read something like "http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1352720" The numbers at the end is your car's code #. 5. Use this link, but replace the Xs after "carcode=" with your car's code. http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=xxxxxxx&m=wc&l=en&html=true It takes longer to read this than to actually do it. Enjoy

Turns out there are some killer parts deals for my cars:

2001 530i - http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1370977&m=wc&l=en&html=true

1999 M3 - http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1352720&m=wc&l=en&html=true

1999 Miata - http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1356229&m=wc&l=en&html=true

If you buy parts from rock auto offten they will send you close out e-mails. I get them all the time and buy axle bearings when they go under $16 normaly their $45 but at least 3 times a year they go on close out so i stock up. I keep a stash in the trailer for race day sales when someone needs a bearing....normaly sell 10 a year.

Oooooh. Now if I could just get them to stop shipping from 8 different warehouses, I'd be golden.

Also not excited that they sent me generic radiator hoses for a Ranger when I specifically clicked on a model-specific item. No bend-to-fit crap for my junky cars!

there's gotta be a way to get the same info without the "hack".. they keep sending me emails that have a link to a page with every part that's on clearance for my 84 Buick Regal T Type because i ordered a fuel pump on clearance from them 4 years ago..

Got that link in an email from Rockauto. Used it to look up O2 sensers for the car. Was going to buy the ones listed but once inside I found some cheaper. Now installed on the Miata and fixed the CEL.

Now if I can find out what a MAP senser is I can fix the new CEL that popped up a week or so after installing the new O2 sensers. That's what Daughter that drives the car told me it was when she had the code read. MAP and not MAF.

MAP = Manifold Air Pressure

Think vacuum/boost reference.

AH! Thanks. Car is a stock 99 Miata w/o boost so will start looking for a vacuum leak someplace.

Bought a clutch master cyl., regularly ~$70, for $4 and change. Hope they don't send me a rebuild kit instead of an actual master....

Did I do something wrong, or is there nothing for a 1994 Miata?
