Exactly.............my favorite Bonneville story is some guys who brought a bone stock 70s YZ125 (regeared). The said it went faster in the back of the truck.
Within grassroots endurance racing I feel like there are certain events on the schedule that stand out with a little more significance. Thinking about how Champcar has the 14hrs at Daytona and the 24 at VIR.
