I'll be the one to ask, what is that?
I'm still amazed that with the amount of time I've spent looking at cars there are still models I've never even seen before, let alone know anything about.

This trend is so lame to me. Every time I see a car like this or an Outback on 31s and no real lift I think Great now it's bad at commuting AND off-roading.
Is this a trend? I haven't really seen it. However, I showed this to the kids and they disagree with you, they said they would do that to their Challenger!
I would put all terrains on a stock Subaru, they would add some value off road. There's some compromise for sure but it's better than the lifted ones I see on Instagram. They must swap axles out weekly

cmcgregor spotted a Toyota Sports 800. Absolutely brilliant chassis with 800cc air cooled flat twin that looks like a Panhard engine.

Yes, this! I only knew what it was because of Gran Turismo.
They were out in force around me today. In a 20 minute ride I saw a Porsche 356A Coupe in ivory and a canary yellow '59 Chevy hard top with some mods.

A dealer an hour from me had 3 of these, 2 were dark blue and 2 were automatic transmission equipped...no convertibles.
After some deep googling I saw today what I believe to be a MAN L2000 German Firetruck in Olympic Valley CA. I wonder if somebody's working on an overlanding rig?
Saw a RHD Jeep Wrangler today. Not a postal jeep, but a normal, run-of-the-mill Wrangler that just happened to have the steering wheel on the other side...

According to Autotrader: Right-hand-drive Wranglers are intended for rural mail deliverers who need to deal with both intense climates (hence the Wrangler) and mailboxes mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle (hence right-hand drive).

Somebody in my hometown has one that I'm pretty sure he bought new. Might be the only one I've seen.
It's been quite a week of car spotting on my drive to work. But, driving, so no photos sadly.
Two EarthRoamer SV-XLTs.
Toyota Corolla Wagon 4wd
Brand new Defender

I believe they are Mercedes. The USPS didn't want the three legged Benz logo on the grill so took them off and added the Postal logo.
