I've seen a white & red Huracan STO driving in Oshawa, ON a couple times within the last few weeks. Wasn't able to get a pic, but like this one:

Met up with this guy to buy some moto accessories today.  89 Accord coupe with 5spd, bought new, never seen salt, it looks like a 2 year old car.

He's thinking of selling to get an answer next year.

I had an 88 in green. Loved that car. One of the best Hondas ever.

I never had an 89 SEi notchback but collected the rest of the 3G set, even the 89 Prelude. I loved those cars so much.

We never got 240TDs in the US but that one has US spec headlights. I wonder if it was gray market and federalized?

Of all of the FDs that I used to see on a regular basis, two out of three were right hand drive.  This shocked me.

I guess it's easier and cheaper to find a clean, not screwed up FD in Japan and have it sent here, vs. buying a US market unicorn.

It is not a TD, just normally aspirated. That said, I don't remember US spec wagons when they were new.

In reply to TurnerX19 :

TD is how Mercedes denotes a wagon. So a 240D is a sedan while a 240TD is a wagon. The 240 engine, OM616, was never turbo charged. The 300 engine, OM617, could be had both turbo or NA. So it gets confusing that you could have a 300TD Turbo Diesel or 300TD Diesel or a 300D Turbo or a 300D Diesel. Then there were the (non us) gas powered variants....

They were only imported to the US '93-'95, but were sold elsewhere until '02. That's a LOT longer run to choose from.

While true, it's only legal to import ones over 25 years old, so until fairly recently you could only import Series 6s anyway.

I guess the Series 7 models ('96-98) had a vastly improved solenoid rack setup, instead of the S6 maze of 80+ hoses that liked to split or pop off...

More weird trivia: Mazda made FDs in batches. All 1993 US market FDs were made in early 1992.  To add to the weird, when they realized that there was not going to be a 1996 US market FD, they ran another batch of 1995s in late 1995, while they were making 1996s for the home market.  The earliest any of those came to the US was in 1996 (in February, IIRC) but since they were made in 1995, they could legally be sold as 1995 model year cars.
