Hit the local cruise in last night, and saw something I probably haven't see in a decade. A Buick Reatta convertible:
44K miles, and the interior looked like new. Talked to the owner, and the touchscreen still works. Its was for sale, too. Would be awesome to roll up to Radwood in this.
In reply to eastsideTim :
I saw 5 of those in a field around Clarkson, Kentucky yesterday. I think that's where most of them are now though.

Hardtops or convertibles? Either way, that's wild to see that many in one place. Guess someone is addicted to them.
In reply to eastsideTim :
All hardtops.

Saw this Renault trucklet last night on the way home, search engine says its called a "Duster Oroch". The DA GSR was about 2 weeks ago and looked perfect.
I forgot about this thread. These were both in the same parking lot yesterday.
We're in New Hampshire, visiting Mount Washington on the way home from Maine.
That was yesterday. We went to the mountain today, and saw a definite unicorn, a 1912 Stanley.
The owner drives it about a thousand miles a year. The only modifications from stock are a thermocouple to monitor the temperature, and a set of Harley Davidson disc brakes on the front wheels.
The brakes were essential, since he drove it to the top of the mountain and back down again.
When the picture was taken, he was running the engine with the rear wheels off ground so he could pump water from the storage tank to the boiler.

As seen through the window at Margarita's Portsmouth NH.
The red van, not the generic car in front of it.
Leaving Whole Foods today, spotted a very brand new looking Mercedes-AMG E63 S wagon. I have much want for that station wagon, even if it costs more than my last house.
(Not actual car)
Stanley Steamer guy is the new Chuck Norris
I saw a 911 Targa yesterday. Forest green with matching Fuchs. Not really rare, but not really common these days either.
Seen in Vancouver last week.

DFW yesterday. Skyline, big flares and lots of exhaust noise
Ignore the destroyed dash pad...it's a dodge
Don't see many of these trundling around the northeast.
And that one might not be for much longer...
Saw these two at The Tail of the Dragon on Sunday.
First time I see one of these and its not on a magazine or tv.
Let’s see if you guys recognize it:

Lol, a buddy said the same thing!
Its actually a Porsche 959. Pretty cool. Belongs to Ralph Lauren I believe, I hear he has two.
I could not get any good pictures for obvious reasons
In reply to Slippery :
959 is my first automotive purchase when I hit the lottery. Revolutionary car, and still looks amazing today
In reply to Indy-Guy :
I agree.
I wonder if its this one:
In reply to Slippery :
Believe it or not, I correctly guessed the car before I read your response. I was a young Lad lusting after the 959 during its development and introduction. I read every article on it, in multiple magazines back in the day ( that was before the Internet )
In reply to Indy-Guy :
Bruce could probably hook you up with another if red isn't your color

I didn't really realize it when I was parked next to it, but the Aston Martin Virage from 1992 is like one of 54 imported to the states. 241k 1992 dollars was NOT cheap.
And yes, I have posted this pic in like 3 different threads. Deal with it.
