I don't have a camera phone, but there's somebody locally with a completely blacked out Rolls Royce. Looks a lot like a Chrysler 300C until you're right up next to it.
Someone who doesn't have a phone with a camera? Now that is a unicorn!
Within 10 minutes. I had no idea they made a convertible Evoque
Is a '74 Dart 4 door a unicorn? This is the only one I have seen in decades, and is sometimes used as delivery for the sandwich shop. I hope they inflate that tire
Just spotted a 25 year old Olds Aurora. What an odd looking car -- I have no idea why GM chose to sell this one under the Oldsmobile brand.
saw this little guy today. Man what nice car.
I've seen this guy driving around my neighborhood a couple times now. He looks like he's having a lot of fun!
A Porsche Cayenne towing a trailer.
IDK if it's a real unicorn, but I dont' think I've seen one of these since my college roommate had one. And that was in 1998. And he got made fun of a lot for it :)
This one still has the epic 3-spoke wheels and hardtop!
In reply to Justjim75 :
He's got a brick phone for sure

The shadows made me think it had huge box flares for a second.
Unicorn? Maybe not, but the build style is certainly not as common as it used to be.. a '70s vintage Chevy van, SWB, with blacked-out lights, ground effects kit, and turbine wheels. Just missing the spoiler...
Saw this in the parking garage at work yesterday and had to take a picture.
Drove around aimlessly for a while today and ended up in an area that's been getting a bit developed and more rich lately. First I saw a Maserati of some sort which I later determined to be a Ghibli.
After driving some more, a Ferrari passed me going the other direction, but I didn't get a picture. It might have been a 488 or F8, I'm not sure. Then on a four-lane road, a McLaren went by in the left lane.
I don't usually care too much about non-Ford supercars, but it just struck me that not too far from the sleepy town where I live, there's a bunch of people with "berk you" money driving cars that cost more than my house is worth. (Maybe not the Ghibli, but the others probably do.)
Saw an unusually rust free Mazda 6 this morning. Which isn't that rare, until I noticed that it was the 5 door version. The hatch, not the wagon.
Spotted this in Brentwood, Tennessee yesterday. Not entirely sure it counts for this thread because that building behind it is in fact a repair shop.
Today I get to work on a 2003 Taurus with 435 miles. Its registration expired in 2003 and looks new underneath.
It is showing a half tank of fuel, and the pump won't budge.

Holy berk!
Also as soon as I saw the gauge cluster, I knew it was a 2000ish Ford before scrolling up to read the previous post. My first thought was "ooh 97 Thunderbird" because they switched the gauges to that style for the final year.
In reply to Knurled. :
That is not a 1/2 tank of fuel any more
In reply to TurnerX19 :
Yep. I wanted to do it as a fuel pump and a tank, because there's no cleaning gunk out of a tank without stripping it chemically, at which point it rusts on the inside. Vehicle owner said, well, let's put a pump in it and see what happens.
Oy vey.
parked at the welding supply shop this morning Note the standard license plate, not a "historic"!
No pictures, but I saw a DeLorean DMC-12 on I-85 this morning.
Huh.
One advantage of modern evaporative emissions systems.
After 17 years, the gasoline is still gasoline and not turpentine.
