Does anyone know were I could either buy or find plans to make a trammel bar. If I've understood my reading materials correctly this will help me measure toe correctly?

Why not use tow plates? Like the ones Longacre makes? These were easy to make in wood http://www.longacreracing.com/catalog/item.asp?id=152&catid=5 I will splain how if you want.
I have a trammel bar from Longacre. It shouldn't be too difficult to make one.
Got a 2x4? Got two pieces of plywood to nail to it? Yer done! There's a very nice trammel bar.
