Well I own two turbo dodges one of which is a Caravan. The only thing weirder than that would be a BiTurbo.

I don't know. I know that Corvairs are unibody, but I saw one on a G-body chassis in Popular HotRodding a few years ago, and the article kind of made it out like it was not a big deal to build.

I would compliment your excellent taste on any of those, but i'm biased. The only one with an issue for me is that Matra, I want to love everything about those *so hard* but I just can't abide that 3-abreast not-a-bench seating. It's *entirely* too '80s Chevy pick-up for a sports car. At least they didn't make it center-drive. :P

I think center drive would have been more French as it could keep the wife and girlfriend from fighting.

LT-1 C4. Although with depreciation a C5 should be in the same price range.

Thanks for the pics. That was cringe-fest 2016!

I thought it was weird liking old Corvairs. I feel so normal now. Thanks.

Yikes! Lots of Jews retire to Florida. Changed that cause you're not a bad person, and that's not what you meant.

LOL thanks. Totally not what I meant. Been riding a migraine for a week now and sometimes the letter, they evade me

There's a house by me with a bunch of Reattas in the backyard. I wouldn't mind one of them.

Nissan Leaf

At 6k for a 3-4 yr old car to go to the grocery store and short trips...I want. Basically a fast golf cart with HVAC and a radio.

Living in Nashville means charging stations with premium parking everywhere too.

As a lot of my friends aren't really car guys and those that are are big nascrap fans and they don't understand my drive a slow car fast deal, they wouldn't understand my fascination with Jenson-Healey (a 74 1/2 version with 5-speed) or 69 Firebird Sprint with 250 SOHC I-6, 4-bbl carb and 4-speed.

No tach, just rev the piss out of it till it quit making power. Never found a rev limiter either. It was my first experience with lift off oversteer. Good times.

That exact car was the first car I ever bought brand new. It was red with a digital am radio. I found out it was am only after I drove it off the lot.

I've had a strong dislike for cartrucks my whole life. Even as a kid before I was into cars I disliked them. Now I feel like I want an el camino.

I have no shame in loving most everything petrol powered and everyone around me knows it. Doesn't matter if its a Pinto/Mustang II, had one in HS, or a Fairmont wagon, 67 Impala, or a Porsche, I love them all. Everybody just shakes their head in disgust and WTFness.

Find myself suddenly wanting a C4 Corvette. I used to work on them constantly and I hated driving them, they were like driving a truck engined Radio Flyer, stiff suspension that you could tell what year a dime was if you ran it over, and a noodly creaky floppy chassis. And getting in and out was an exercise in gymnastics.

I guess it's been so long, I forgot why I hated them.

Always had a hankering for a Triumph Mayflower. It is shorter than an MGB but doesn't look like it. You can park it in front of your house and everyone will think your house is bigger than it is and that you have a Rolls parked out front!

I have zero embarrassment of my love of all things GEO, nor my Pinto-love. I'm real with the fact that I recently looked at a Maverick, and, as if I were on a front porch in South Central, went "dayummm" in my head. Dauphines, 2CVs, Festivas, and Yugos. They all do something for me, and I'd own any of these undesirables in a heartbeat.

What embarases me is this: Jehu help me, I like the Altima Coupe. The problem isn't that it is poorly styled or designed-it isn't. The rub is that it goes against everything I profess to want in a car. It's portly. It has too many "conveniences". I don't like modern Nissans for the most part. The Altima has become the new Maxima- a car for everyman, and I HATE Altimas. The above looks good, though, eh?
