Two weekends ago there was a TVR-Griffith gathering at the Mid-Ohio Vintage GP.
This was the national gathering for the Griffith Motorcar Club. There were 190 or so series 200's and 59 series 400's made in total. We had about 10 Griffiths and 13 other TVR's, a good showing for both marques. Friday night was a cookout at one of the member's homes, and that is what the first album of pictures is from. The second album is of Griff's and TVR's at the track, and the third is a bunch of misc pics from the track.
Sorry for the quality of some of the pics. I left them to my kids, and you know how that goes!
I hope you enjoy them.

Excellent!
I love the early Griffiths. The 1600-powered Ford (Kent) engined ones are my favourite.
I actually met Trevor Wilkinson at one of the TVR-meets that used to be held here in NJ (before they moved it to Carlise).

Glad you liked it.
Although to clarify, You're thinking of the TVR Vixen. All Griffith's were powered by the Ford 289.
Ah yes, you are correct...Vixen.
Here's a 200 that races in our club (I'm pretty sure it has an MGA engine). These are nice too, but the tail of the Vixen/Griffith is cleaner to my eye.
I'm heading to the Pittsburgh Vintage on Friday so I'll probably see this one over the weekend.

That one is actually a Grantura. A 200 is a Griffith only designation.
You're right.....I better study my TVRs better!
Thanks for the pics, Jim. Friday's cookout looks like a wonderful setting.

You bet it was! The whole place was unbelievable, and every car he had was near perfect, and had some interesting history. Honestly, for me the cookout was better than the event at Mid-Ohio. Glad you liked the pics.
