I tuned in after the first hour of the drags. I couldn't tell if I missed some quick runs or not. It was fun to watch.

Also on the GoPro broadcasting, I think it's a great idea, but you would need a dedicated person for handing the cameras, etc.
Now if some folks would post links to streams from their phones, then it could be sort of self-managed. I know I've run a Ustream event from a smart phone, just requires an good data plan or decent wifi.
Well, Crabill's 440 Neon lost a wheel on the first run due to sheared studs on the rear wheel. Sebring had a hell of a ride on three wheels but kept it out of the wall. They fixed it and ran an 11.99 and a 12.21
Nelson has run an 11.1 in the Bug and broke a ladder bar apparently. They've got three people involved in TIG welding it back together. One holding the bar together, one running the stinger and the third operating the pedal via voice command.
Reese got hit by a piece of a harmonic balancer in the pits at the Autocross and hurt his arm, but he's ok and chilling at the hospital.
In reply to Stefan (Not Bruce):
Missed the sheared studs. Now I want a replay.
I was listening for the balancer explosion. I want to know more, I've never seen them do that, especially in the pits, probably near idle.

I have now watched the GRM Challenge live on my TV.
Damn night shift. I slept through the autocross this morning and missed out on the drags as well. I don't recommend live streaming any of the action from the motel.
depending on the connaection from the hotal tonight, i will have photos edited and posted within the hour i hope. I hope everyone got a kick out of the blue subaru outback wagon #24. I drove down from wisconsin in it and raced it and going to drive home this coming week. it was 1136miles to the event. i was hoping for longest drive, but i think there moight be a just a bit futher. today was a blast to be down here, I impressed Al JR. by asking him to ride shotgun and use his know how to help with the autocross. he rode all 5 runs in the outback and he had so much fun he talked about it at lunch with tim. Talk about epic take away of a life time. so yes, i am very much feeling very smug right now. I really want to thank the zine staff for putting this on and being very cool people. A a very huge thanks to Al for his help this morning in riding shotgun.
Track was covered in dew by the time I got my turn in the Mumpkin. 20psi boost, 9 psi drag tires, and dew covered track=wannabee Gainesville Drift through second and deep into 3rd gear. Before my last run I realized the problem was me and I just had to drive the dumb thing whether it wanted to drift the top half or not. Got quicker on my 3rd/last run but it was not enough to catch SVReX's times or A&M's. Bastards!
