What do we think of an '06 Volvo S40, 2.4/automatic, 108K miles?

Favorite SIL looking at one to replace his E46 325Ci that got totaled by a jerk rear-ending him.

Wonderful interior. I was real close to buy one, but really didn't think a 4 door sedan would suit me. So I bought a 1990 240 wagon. I really like the base models; manual, no sunroof. Just double check the timing belt was done, as it's very popular for those to be neglected or people to sell the car when they get the quote on it.

Hold out for a turbo IMO, the difference in price in 2016 is minimal.

Decent cars otherwise. They're Mazda3s that don't rust.

Timing belt is incredibly easy to do, too.
