Anyone know of a shop in Southern California that widens cast aluminum wheels? I know Weldmax in Michigan does them, but they're expensive (I've heard ~$200 per wheel) and shipping is annoying.

I want some 17x8s widened to 17x9. The wheels will be used for road racing and autocross.

If I get a new set of wheels I'm looking at ~$900 so I want to keep the cost well below that.

I believe wheelflip may be what you are looking for. They aren't cheap but they do quality work.

Wheel widening is always going to be expensive, no matter where you go.

Perfect! That shop is just down the freeway from me. Thanks.

I know it's going to be expensive, but two-way shipping is a significant part of the cost so I'd like to save that.
