Where to take broken Craftsman rachet?

agreed. My favorite ratchet is the Kobalt flex head.

Try disassembling and lubing them. I had the same issue and it was just some dirt and lack of lube that gave that feeling. If you post the make/model number on the handle I can probably find instructions of how to take it apart. Most modern CMs just have a circlip and it pretty much falls apart after that.
