like the title says, who do we like for clutch discs?   specifically, Audi applications at around 400hp/400ft-lb.    also pondering finding someone to make me a Chevy clutch disc with an Audi spline.

Last time I needed something like that, I just went to a local trucker place and had them build me a custom clutch pressure plate.

M20 flywheel on S52 with E30 transmission.

I think it was X5 disc, with whatever material they chose and an X5 pressure plate or something like that.

I have found calclutch will make about thing your heart desires. I was needing a Ranger M5OD spline but not the bigger 9 1/8" 3.0 Ranger disc, but the smaller TC 8 7/8" disc. Wrote an email and Andre said "no problem"

What's the spline count and shaft diameter of the Audi? Also what GM clutch size? (10.5", 11", 12")

Tangential thought: Can you get Tilton 7 1/4" discs in the right spline pattern? Those are relatively cheap and GM button flywheels are cheap and plentiful on ebay/ swap meets.

Just find a local "clutch and brake" jobber and tell them what you need.  They can get it in a day for you in whatever flavor you need.

You'll need to log in to post.
