Back in the day, Xenon offered aero kits that differed from the rest in a big detail: Instead of fiberglass, they were produced in durable polyurethane–kind of like a bendable rubber. You could leave the parts black or paint to match.

The catalog covered all of the day’s popular cars, Sentras to Mustangs. Their front spoiler for the 240Z was …

Hope you appreciate my Photoshop work but, yes, an old, old GRM project car is still featured on the Xenon site.

In reply to David S. Wallens :

I'm surprised you guys can remember all the project cars? I'd need an easily searchable database by make/model/year & other relevant details. Hell, I have enough trouble remembering just the cars I've owned.

Please, I beg of you, keep the Word Of The Day far, far away from "Wings West".

In the neighborhood where I work there is a mid-'90s Eclipse with the full horrid Wings West treatment, with gaping maw, side skirts, and that weird, obese-manta-ray wing.  It's on regular steel wheels with plastic wheel covers and is in remarkably solid shape for its age and obvious history.  As far as I can tell it's a daily for a normal, middle-aged guy.

Well, Wings West is still out there. (The things you learn via this forum.)

I'm betting money Peter Linney shot that Fox body for Xenon.

In reply to Will :

I just opened that photo in Photoshop to check out the wheels. (Sadly, it's not a big file.) Anyway, I just noticed that Mustang is two-tone--the blue above the squiggle looks more aqua.

Any time I see a Mustang shot with a reflector, I just assume it's Linney's work.

I hope Cervini's is on the list. They were advertising in almost every Ford magazine in the 90s that I can remember. :D
