Are you of the opinion that front-engine Porsches were just too darned narrow? Don't worry. We've got you covered. This 1979 Porsche 928 looks like it hasn't seen the track in a long time, but everything seems to be in place—that is, except for a full roll cage. Leadfoot Muscle Cars is selling it for $6500.

Seen a cool car …

I like it. I'm not a German car, nor Porsche fan, but I do like it. I've always said if I owned a porch it would not be rear engined.

My porch is not engined at all.

I used to have a twin engined porch but Mrs. APEowner strongly encouraged me to find another place to keep them.

I had a twin engined laundry room once. Zero-to-oil-stained in 3.2 seconds.

They appear to have done the impossible... they put box flares on something and made it look worse...

Ohhhh I would like to show up at job site with that just to see what my clients would say.

I think the price s a bit high. I would start at less then half if I was negotiating for that car. Yes I realize you could not replicate it for that $$$$ but at the end of the day it is a clapped out first gen 928 with fender flairs and big meats. Looks like someones forgotten mostly finished project.

The more I read the description the less pleased I got. Custom exhaust because it has a supper trap? Then they show a photo of the exhaust that is rusted out and almost looks like it has a hole in it. Ya that is custom junk that will need replacement. That just makes me wonder what other "liberty's" they took with the description of this car.

This is one case where an LS conversion would add significant value.

Is it me or is there a hole in the rusted exhaust in this photo.
