I have an old craftsman battery powered sawzall that still 'works' but the case is beat and the guide doesn't stay in and the battery doesn't really clip in well anymore. 

I was thinking of trying to make it into a small scooter or minibike/pit bike, possibly using one of the many children's bikes that have now somehow piled up around my house.
