My son has a cracked right rear spring on his 1998 ZX2. It will take a few days for a new set to arrive from Autozone. Is there anyone within driving distance of NEPA (say 75 miles)with an extra set of rear (or of they are lowering springs) a set of four springs. Have cash, will travel.

I have some in Dayton, OH (not very close to NE PA) that you can have if someone is headed that way from here.

Any BG chassis springs will work. There's a seller on york pa CL selling a bunch of 91-95 escort suspension stuff, those springs will work

People go for years with the rear springs broken. Desn't even seem to change the ride height much.

Both of the rears were broken when I put the coilovers on my Protege. I didn't know it until I swapped them. BGs are strange cars.

He ordered two new Moog springs. The car would not pass inspection with the cracked spring. He needs the car for college so we cannot wait for springs to be shipped. Autozone will have them in today. I wanted to go with lowering springs and better struts this spring. He blew me off. Now he suffers.

Couldn't you just cut the existing springs at the crack? It's right up around the top, right?
