Have you seen this picture making the rounds?
Pretty funny, but it made me think. Even if Porsche did a lottery and sold a bunch for $50K, they would instantly become highly-sought after collectibles and would resell for crazy money. I mean, a light, simple 911 without all of the gadgets? Roll-up windows and a 6-speed manual? It would be so pure, so awesome to drive.
Your rental car fleet Ferrari is here!
If Porsche decontents a car, stripper/lightweight, they charge more, not less.
I bet making wind-up windows on a modern Porsche would add cost and weight. Modern window motors are pretty light and cheap..
Looks like a mid 2000s Toyota with missing plastic wheel covers and unpainted replacement bumpers from E-Bay.
Not impressed.
I wouldn't kick it out of the garage....

I really wouldn’t mind silver styled steel wheels on more pedestrian cars, at least compared to plastic wheel covers.

I'd be in - dealer charges should only bring it to 100k if you pay a downpayment site unseen.
Just because some random person draws up a picture and posts it online doesn't mean it's any way related to a factory effort.
I love steel wheels. I would buy that rubber bumper porrarriboghini.
