Some guy rewrote night before xmas to reflect current events.
Hooray, we're on to page 5 so I don't have to keep scrolling rapidly past the frog video because EEW OMG THAT IS SO AWFUL.
Behold, the only thing that could ever make a Jetta awesome:

Changed my mind. Not linking a copyright infringement. Instead a wonderful chase on-stage. It's Bullitt-like when you start to glimpse the Celica at about the 5:00 mark.
"30 seconds head start, 9.86km and got him on the final straight where we hit approx 215km/h as we passed him! 10,000rpm with the 13B PP"
(Spoiler alert: Mazda beats Toyota )
One more: Someone has built my Vision for a M4 RallyCross car, except he used a Peugeot shell and a 3-rotor instead of a 2-rotor.

What kind of crazy shift pattern does that thing have? 1,2,4 forward and 3,5 back???
In reply to Kenny_McCormic: What I saw looked like this
2-5-1
3-4
At least that's what it looked like to me.
In reply to Nick (Not-Stig) Comstock:
It's not uncommon for gearkits to put 1st gear where 5th used to be, since 1st typically has too little traction to really need to be strong and top gear is best served as 1:1. It's easier to shove 1st off up and to the right rather than redo all of the shift gates and flip the now 1-R gate to turn it into a proper dogleg box.
So shift pattern is:
2-4-1
3-5-R
Just like a dogleg trans but 1st is up and to the right instead of down and to the left.
Here's another example in a Toyota. F-Cup rules require stock block and head and there is a weight/displacement break, I think this Starlet was around 190hp from a pushrod engine (3T?) stroked to 1.8l.
Edit: For the love of the great Flying Spaghetti Monster don't watch this at work without earbuds....
A Thanksgiving tradition in my family is listening to Alice's Restaurant and its the 50th Anniversary this year:

That's okay. The video thumbnail isn't of a live animal staring at you from within a bed of its own semi-prepared meat.

Yeah, everyone who reads this thread has seen it, given it was posted on the last page. You're right, it is entertaining.

I'll remove the link and fill its place with something new and exciting . I really need to follow these "please stop" threads more consistently..

Bunch of things that bother me about this video. It's almost entirely fluff.. How long can these cars keep up their pace before the battery packs run down? How do their lap times compare with conventional supercars?
Lot's of sliding and self indulgent camera work, I'm sure it was a fun day for the drivers, but very little in the way of real information.
And Tiff comes off as a crabby old man.

Great video! I couldn't believe that they would turbo a bike and NOT dyno test it. So disappointing in that sense.
my first stint in the Lemons race at CMP this past spring ... B class, Kia Sephia
interesting ... I tried to go "full screen" and it says ...no can do .. that it's disabled somewhere/by someone ...
but when I go to my YouTube channel and try full screen, it's fine (WBJ Motorsports) it does full screen just fine
