Ghastly paint job! Unworthy of such a fine machine. The body lines speak for themselves, no need for an artist in training to try and spice it up.

Today’s adventure in security theater:

Every week for the past eight weeks we’ve had an appointment at a doctor in a local hospital. The first week they had a new security system that took our pictures with a hand held camera and saved it so on following weeks the could scan our licenses and give us passes. That lasted two weeks, then they gave up and handed out hand written hall passes.  Today they had another new system with the cameras mounted to the tops of their monitors behind a tall counter. The two elderly people couldn’t figure out how to aim camera low enough to get a picture of my wife in her wheelchair. We offered to stand her up but they couldn’t let her do that, so in the end the settled for this picture of the top of her head.

Hey, I still think digital watches are a neat idea! (And am currently wearing, as always, a calculator watch).

I don’t care that it’s gotten cold out, I’m not turning on the heat in September.

Holy Crap!! How hard is it to add a Camaro nose to an El Camino? I may need to do this...right after I get my Evel Kneivel swim trunks in the mail.
