The Corvette was on a drive on lift and the right side collapsed for whatever reason. You can see the part of the lift that you drive onto under the Corvette.
Looking further, you can see the left side rear post at a jaunty angle, and the foot of the right side rear post (or the top half of it, it's hard to tell) is actually sitting on the grass. Not sure how that happens but clearly that post unsecured itself, either by cause or by effect.

Super Snoopy, the air-racing DC-7 built specifically for the 1970 California 1000 Unlimited Air Race. In raw speed, it was no match for the highly-tuned Mustangs, Sea Furies and Bear Cats that normally raced, but what it lacked in flat-out, it made up for in stamina, able to fly the entire race non-stop, with no visits to the pits, and finished a respectable sixth out of twenty.
