Sooooo at Honda we always get people just coming in to get the free Honda air that we offer. Everyone knows that it's by far the most superior air you can put in your tires.

Lately though we've been getting a lot of people who are coming in saying "Obama says that you get better MPGs if you raise your tire pressure! Can you raise them up?????" I always just say no. Honda recommends that I only put in the correct PSI recommended for this car. I'm sure it would ruin my CSEs but since these people don't get repair orders written up, they just come in for tire pressure, I don't have to worry. Anyone else think this is ridiculous? Yes I understand you can get better MPGs from this but really, just become some dirty politician says soo the whole world wants to do it? I also don't appreciate the fact that these people try and tell me why I should vote for Obama.

I'm getting just as sick and tired of people telling me why I should vote for McCain. Isn't 8 years of Bush enough?

I think ALL Obama backers should have their tire pressures raised!

To 85 psi in the rain and snow!

Preferably BEFORE election day!

I don't care for either candidate, so bash away at both of them, i really could car e less who wins. Both of them are horrible in my opinion.

I've thought about just raising them up to like 60 psi because some of the people are uberdouches. One of them actually tried putting an Obama sticker on my toolbox. He almost got an air chuck to the face.

I'm just tired of this nonsense, I can't wait for the election to be over. Either way this country is screwed. But I'd prefer to have someone in the whitehouse who's wife didn't write her college dissertation on how blacks are going to suppress whites if she gets into a position of poewr. That is absolutely redonkulous in my opinion.

What a work! The real rulers of this country are laughin' all the way to the ( off shore ) bank!

Ron Paul won't be supporting McCain/Palin this year, even though Phil Graham told him he HAD to. Paul won't be supporting Obama either. Looks like Mr. Paul is getting 'Mavericky'.

Well they're doing the right thing but for the wrong reasons (being a politician-worshiping sheep).

I'd just pump their pressures up to the recommended spec, I don't know if you'd want to do more since you work at a dealership and you'd be responsible when the car suddenly doesn't turn or stop, causing the idiot driver to use more brakes and steering, causing a big stupid accident which would be good for the gene pool but bad for your career.

Yeah that would piss me off immensely, there would probably be violence, even if it was a candidate I fully supported (ROFL). It's just an easier-to-remove version of graffiting my stuff.

Why would we want loosers? I think the roughly 7926 LOSERS (politicians) that are employed by you and me should be drawn and quartered unless they start working and stop screwing around.

Political correctness has no room in politics.

He didn't actually tell people to overinflate their tires. He told people to have their tires inflated to their correct inflation pressures. So many people drive around with their tires underinflated that it's crazy. Imagine if 80% of Americans could improve their economy by 5% just by keeping track of inflation pressures in their tires. I can tell you for sure right now that both of my cars are running on tires that are probably about 2 psi low thanks to the drop in temperature. That will change tonight.

7926? Maybe for ..each,real, tax payer! Can't spit in Columbus Ohi ya with hittin one or two!

Add up all the members of US state governments and combine that with the federal government and you get 7926 politicians, or 1 for approximately every 37,850 citizens. http://skuds.org/2006/11/american-and-british-politicians/

Raise your air pressures to cut parasitic losses, cut your taxes, raise the spending levels, no new taxes. How come there's only one of those Obama statements I believe?

I bet a nickel nine out of 10 of them are on under-inflated tires. If they're filling them up because Obama told them to, or Oprah told them to, or the voices in their head told them to, or whoever told them to... it's a good thing.

I have no doubts they're not the shiniest pennies in the jar. If they were, they probably woulda clued into the past 30 years (or more) of advice saying that tire pressures have a direct bearing on MPG, safety, and the life of the tire. But at least they're taking a tiny step toward being slightly less dumb.

Would you prefer the people who WON'T inflate their tires specifically because Obama said it was a good idea?

Or body shops? Or gas stations?

Or refineries?

Free air?

HARDLY!
