Got another one..

Shawn
A genius in the world of broadcasting, one known for never throwing a political slant into his viewpoints. He indeed will be missed by all.
Good Evening, I'm Walter Cronkite.
Seriously ,when I was a kid that is the only reason I knew who that guy was. He introduced himself with such wise authority.
Not just a neat guy but also a car guy and sailer. He raced at Lime Rock and Sebring in the late 50s (in a Lotus 11 for sure......I've also seen pictures of him in a TR3 but not sure if that was a racer).
Godspeed, Walter.
He raced Volvos at LRP, and a Lancia to 40th at Sebring. He drove Schechter's Lotus 11 for a publicity stunt once that I read about somewhere (maybe Sebring also?) but I'm not sure if he raced it or just did a few laps.
RIP
The end of real news as we know it. Papers up here featured pages and pages of Michael Jackson's passing... Cronkite only rated a quarter page.
