My dad (going on 83) drives a 2007 Honda CRV. He could use a back up camera at this point. His radio is bone stock and I'm not looking to replace the head unit. Is there such a thing as a standalone backup camera I could get for him?

Do you want one that is wired ?

or wifi to his phone ?

I have useda couple of the rearview mirror camera setups where the screen is in tye mirror. I like them. Used autovox in the wifes van, and its way better than the $59 ebay special in my truck.

I think wired would be easier for him to manage.

More details on the autovox? Wired or wireless?

I just looked up Auto Vox and it looks like it might be perfect. Installation is presumably simple.

I used the wired ones. However it was as simple as running the cable to the back, a power and ground for the mirror, and a power and ground from the reverse light for the camera. Hers has been Flawless all this time.
