Anybody ever made one? Being able to weld without laying on my back to stitch things up on the RX7 sure would be nice!

We talked about it here a bit before: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/the-inexpensive-rotisserie-thread/58984/page1/

My buddy used these to clean/weld floors on his mk1 VW Rabbit. More of a "tiptisserie". Got the job done on the cheap though!

Dave, if you need to borrow one, I have one. Bought it off Cl a couple of winters ago and still have not found a use for it. Thing is kind of in my way most of the time. Already has bumper adapters that were used on a 356. Might need to make adapters for your specific application.

The two methods that stick out in my head are using two hacked up engine stands, or for really light stuff (bug bodies and such) making a big octagonal tube out of 2x4s.

Is there anything you DON'T have, Todd?

I'll definitely be in touch after autocross season ends.

You'll need to log in to post.
