Keep in mind that the US auto industry was in the middle of taking a gigantic E36 M3 when that thread was started. Like many of my colleagues, I was laid off from a not-small Tier 1 supplier at about that time.

Mercifully, most of my post history was tragically lost in a system update many years ago. (whew!)

Most of my dorkiness can be attributed to youthful exuberance - I still lurk but post less frequently these days.

At least GRM doesnt rub our faces in it on a daily basis like one of those social media sites.....

I took a LOT of E36 M3 from you guys around 2005 when I said GM was going to go bankrupt.

Apparently i have made incredible strides in ability since joining here. Thank you for bringing me up.
